Becket(t)/Bicket(t) Branches Project Mapping File
The mapping file which can be downloaded from the link below shows the birth locations of most people in the Becke(t)t/Bicket(t) Branches Project. It also shows locations for some specific Becket(t)t/Bicket(t) place names or areas of interest. It can be used with Google Earth and other mapping programs. First, download the file from the link below. From Google Earth you choose “open” from the file menu and navigate to the kml file. Alternatively, clicking on the kml file should open Google Earth. You can also use this file with most other mapping apps: just follow the instructions that come with your mapping app. Most will have the capability of viewing kml files.
Mapping is done per family tree and the various trees can be turned on and off via a side menu. You may change symbols and colours to suit your needs.
There are only locations displayed and there is no reference to, or display of, anyone’s names.
